CONTEMPORARY BURGERS IN GENOVA

A stairway to heaven

Opened in 2015 and becoming bigger over time, in the splendid setting of the historic center and the Rolli of Genoa, blah blah.

Groove Burger was our first adventure and is still the place we call home. We restored spaces in a 16th-century palace in the historic center of Genoa, just steps from Via Garibaldi, enhancing or mixing raw materials with structural elements such as columns, uneven floors, and the visible cistern that once collected rainwater.
In season, we also set up tables outside, facing Rolli. It’s a lot.

What’s on the Menu

We prepare burgers, steaks, and hot dogs for omnivores, as well as plant-based burgers and nuggets.
If you don’t eat gluten, we can serve your burger without bread: it still looks great.
We also delight you with appetizers, salads, homemade chips (our famous recipe is a secret!), the mega-spiced and fried onion, brownies and cheesecake, tiramisu.
The dishes have three key words in common: innovation, refinement, and quality. We put on our aprons with a scientific approach, following the rules of the taste equation, to create surprising and fun creations.

What to drink

Beer flows powerfully in us: you’ll find a ton of taps, bottles, and cans to try on rotation, all from independent breweries.

We don’t disdain wine, of which we have an instagrammable selection of bottles on the wall, and then amaros, liquors, and spirits to make you enjoy a little longer before saying goodbye. Camatti and Bruzzone are not lacking, we’re in Zena.

In addition to everything on the menu, you will always find at least one limited edition burger of the moment. These are daring recipes: you’ll have as much fun inventing and testing them as we do.

This month we have the “Smoke on the water”, with:
sesame bread, Aberdeen angus, homemade bourbon flavored BBQ sauce, bacon, smoked provola cheese, caramelized onion and salad.

ANTICO FORNO PATRONE

The historic Via Ravecca bakery in Genoa prepares all our burger and hot dog buns. Over time, we’ve made them do everything: colorful bread, potato bread, with raisins and fennel, chestnut bread, and spicy bread. Yet they still have the patience to put up with us.

LEM CARNI

A historic Emilian company provides us with Aberdeen Angus for burgers and Piedmontese Fassona for steaks. Everything comes from non-intensive and certified farms, is monitored by the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences of the University of Bologna, and is delivered in eco-friendly packaging.

RAVIOLHOUSE / ANNA RAMÒ PASTICCIERA

The kings of Gavi ravioli prepare the fried ravioli we serve in our appetizers. We choose our friends well.
Genoa pastry chef Anna Ramò makes us vegan sweets.
